SEEOC 2011 13 September 2011.
Dear Toni,
On behalf of South East European Orienteering Working group, I would like to thank
you for a very good organisation of historical first South East European Orienteering
Championships which was held on 7-11 September 2011 in Krusevo, Macedonia.
More then 300 participants from eleven SEEOWG country members were enjoyed
stay and races in Krusevo.
I would like of you to send my greetings to all organising team members, as well as
to the representatives of Krusevo Municipality and Agency for Youth and Sport in
Macedonia.

1. Aims of visit
· Information about actual situation and progress of preparation
· Checking maps
· Checking courses and control sites

2. Program of visit
Thursday, July 28th : Checking map and courses for sprint and meeting in Kruševo.
Friday, July 29th : Checking maps and courses for long and middle.
Saturday, July 30th : Checking maps and courses for relay.

3. Meetings with following persons:

4. Maps
All maps are finished, and finally checked.
Recommanded some changes and additional information to be make and distributed
in Bulletin 3.
On all maps we can not see exception from ISOM and ISSOM.
All maps will be A4 format, waterproof.

5. Courses

6. Embargoed Areas
Reccomanded to be prepared new more detail map of Embargoed zones and to be
publish in Bulletin nr 3
Public roads in all Embargoed areas and all Zones are open for through passing.

7. Bulletin and website
Bulletin Nr. 3 should be published by 25th August 2011.
Official web site is www.seeockrusevo2011.mk and it is working well.

8. Timekeeping – punching system
Time will be measured with 1 second accuracy for all races – APPROVED.
Punching system: SPORTIdent – APPROVED

9. Planed dates for next visits
During TARA OPEN, 05th to 7th August – Meeting with organizers and final
discussions about the courses and final draft for Bulletin No. 3
Beginning of september 2 or 3 days before competition (5th – 11th September 2011),
second Visit - final checkings and competition.
Activities to be finalized by the organizers until next visit
· Finishing the maps and preparation for offset printing
· Finishing the courses (sprint, long, middle and relay) and preparation for course
overprinting
· Publishing Bulletin 3 (in the web site and sending to all participating federations,
via email and/or by post)
· Finalizing agreements with sponsors, local authorities, media, etc.

10. Recommendation and Conclusions
Most of preparation work for SEEOC 2011 is carried out in professional way. We had
a pleasant visit and organizers were taken well care of us. We are looking forward to
further cooperation and successful orienteering events .
